Week 4
Targeting. This was a fun chapter. It is interesting to see what products are targeted towards me vs. my wife, or parents or siblings. I can tell being on campus or with peers or with other groups that I am affiliated with that I am targeted for products that say my parents would not be. I think cars are a good example. I would be targeted in the market for maybe an SUV or a family car because I am starting a family and need a vehicle that can hold kids. My parents on the other hand have an empty nest and would be targeted in the market for more pricey luxury vehicles or sporty vehicles. We can all be segmented into different and same markets for certain products.
