Week 2

There was a statistic in the text that blew my mind! It says. "Asian Americans who represent only 4.2 percent of the U.S. population, have the highest average family income of all groups... at $66,500." It is insane the marketing that is involved in reaching to the Asian groups.

I also was very interested in how marketing has to be tailored to show products to all types of cultures and classes in a way that is not offensive or in ways that would not be appealing to a specific group. Also, certain products are marketed to some groups but not others due to purchasing power and other economic factors.
